“When
we deny our stories, they define us. When we own our stories, we get to write a
brave new ending.”—Brené Brown
In a digital age, I personally find interesting how we
connect and communicate with people through their stories and technology, and
here is the example of the social media. I must confess that I’m a huge
Instagram fan, I love spending some time watching my friends’ reels, posts, and
stories. Nowadays, there are some many social media platforms as TikTok,
Facebook and Snapchat that help us to stay in touch with the people we care
about.
We must be proud of our stories, sharing them help us to
understand ourselves and bind us together with people from different cultures
or backgrounds. Seattle is a great example of intercultural stories; it has
been an awesome place to meet and connect with people from different countries
and create a strong network of friends that had become family.
I definitely love to share my stories with the people I care
about, coming here from another country helped me to connect with people that
are in the same situation as me. I appreciate and cherish all my friends’
stories; but I’m especially proud of mine.
Please find a short clip here of my story and don’t forget
to leave a comment.

Hi Pricilla,
ReplyDeleteI totally agree that sharing stories is not only a chance for others to get to know us but also a chance for us to know ourselves better.
The video is so nice. Thanks for your sharing and I can feel your happiness through the screen.
